The Good Shepherd Society

The Good Shepherd Society was established to recognize those who generously contribute to the Catholic Services Appeal (CSA).

Members donate a minimum of $500 each year to support more than 100 diocesan ministries and programs that transform the lives of our brothers and sisters throughout Central Texas. Members of the Good Shepherd Society take a leadership role in advancing the mission of the Diocese of Austin, proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and supporting those in need in our entire community.

The Perpetual Light Society

The Perpetual Light Society was created to honor those who have named the Diocese of Austin, their parish, a Catholic school, or the Catholic Foundation—Diocese of Austin as a beneficiary in their will or trust, retirement account, life insurance policy, or other estate plans. The Diocese of Austin is grateful for our legacy donors and sought a way to acknowledge these special benefactors during their lifetimes.

In conjunction with our mission, this special society provides an opportunity for benefactors to not only make their philanthropy a perpetual legacy for themselves but also to inspire others. In addition, the foundation of support their generosity creates makes our parishes, schools, and nonprofits stronger, more sustainable, and better equipped to reach future generations.

If you would like to become a member of the Perpetual Light Society or learn more, reach out to Dan Wierzbowski, Associate Director of Planned Giving, at dan-wierzbowski@austindiocese.org or call (512) 949-2496
